Description: Ms. Steinburg's class earned the "Protect Living Things" Badge by reading Turtle Summer, a book about the joys of a mother and daughter spending a summer as Turtle Team volunteers, as they care for Loggerhead Sea Turtles. Ms. Steinburg’s students brainstormed how they can protect Loggerhead Sea Turtles and how they can protect other sea animals in a local setting.

Description: Ms. Bopst’s class earned the "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" Badge. They read the book, Michael Recycle and then brainstormed ways they could all reduce, reuse and recycle at home and at school. They even thought of writing their ideas on just one piece of paper to reduce paper use as well!
