Growing Indoor Plants from Clippings
Date: January 2019
Teacher: Allyson Sealfon Grade: Kindergarten Description: Students learned about the benefits of having indoor plants. They understood that plants help to clean the air we breathe, and they produce oxygen. They took clippings from plants and placed those clippings in recycled mason jars. They placed the jars along the window ledge for sunlight and observed them as they grew roots. The after school Green Club will plant these new plants and distribute them throughout the school. |
