2.2 Energy conservation
Posters by Light Switches
Date: December 2018
Teacher: Meghan Moore
Grade: Second Grade
Description: Ms. Moore’s second graders learned about energy conservation by watching an informative video and discussed the impact we could have at Parr's if we turned off the lights when we didn’t need them. Most classrooms at Parr’s have large windows to let in natural light, therefore do not always need all the lights on. Students created catch phrase for their posters and illustrations to encourage students and staff members to flip the lights off. The students then posted these small signs at every light switch in the building.
